Boiler tube cleaning is a vital part of vessel maintenance in refineries, power and processing plants, and similar industrial facilities. Werner’s boiler tube brushes are available in various sizes and wire types to suit the application, including nylon, brass, and carbon or stainless steel. Features galvanised twisted wire.
Diameter: 25m – 240mm
Brush Lay: 120mm
Brush Total Length: 220mm
Wire Thickness: 0.35 – 0.55
Thread: ½” BSW
Depending on the application, water, gases, and other caustic chemicals being run through the unit will cause deposit build-up inside of the tubes, inhibiting water flow and heat transfer. This results in a loss in operating efficiency.
These mineral deposits or “scaling” can be removed through mechanical or chemical cleaning methods, depending on the thickness and type of deposits being removed.
For use with a drill or pneumatically actuated cleaning tools. Start by draining and flushing the unit. Scrub the tubes clean, while using low-pressure water to flush out debris. This type of cleaning is quick and reduces the volume of wastewater produced.
Note: Use nylon or brass for nonferrous tubes and steel for ferrous metal tubes. Size your brush as close to the tube ID as possible to ensure optimal results. Always wear appropriate PPE.

Condenser tube cleaners are indispensable maintenance tools in refineries, power and processing plants, and similar industrial facilities. Werner condenser tube brushes are available in various sizes and wire types to suit the application, including nylon, brass, and carbon or stainless steel. Features galvanised twisted wire.
Diameter: 10m – 25mm

Tube cleaning is a necessary part of vessel maintenance, such as condensers, chillers, and other heat exchangers. The best cleaning results are achieved when the correct brush style and size are chosen.
For use with a drill or pneumatically actuated cleaning tools. Start by draining and flushing the unit, if applicable. Scrub the tubes clean, while using low-pressure water to flush out debris. This type of cleaning is quick and reduces the volume of wastewater produced.
Note: Do not exceed maximum rotation speed indicated on packaging or tech spec sheet. Always wear appropriate PPE.

Werner’s range of port cleaning (end) brushes is made for light to medium-duty deburring, cleaning, and rust removal. The crimped wire filament is flexible enough to follow the contours of a workpiece, while giving access to hard-to-reach cavities and holes. The wires also flare out during operation, making them effective in cleaning pipe and tube IDs. Available in flat and pointed trim (crimped wire only), as well as a 38mm Busby trim (straight wire).
Diameter: 6 – 25mm Flat trim, 20mm Pointed Trim, 38mm Busby Trim
Wire Thickness: 0.30 (Crimped), 0.35 (Busby)
Mounting: Shank/Spindle
Werner’s range of crimped wire decarbonising brushes can be effectively used to clean hard-to-reach areas such as drilled holes, recesses and corners. They are well suited for removing burrs, rust and paint.
For use with a drill or air tool. Refer to maximum and optimum operating/rotational speeds indicated on packaging or tech spec sheet.
Note: Do not exceed maximum rotation speed indicated on packaging or tech spec sheet. Do not apply excessive pressure. Always wear appropriate PPE such as eye and ear protection and/or a dust mask and gloves. Avoid material cross-contamination.
